Our Story

 

On March 1, 1981, in Berkeley, California, Pastor Paul Kim and his wife Rebekah Kim JDSN founded Berkland Baptist Church (BBC), a member of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), with the vision to live out His Greatest Commandments, to love God and love one another, and to join in His Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations. Frontier Baptist Church reflects the rich spiritual heritage that has been handed down to us through BBC these past 40 years and our commitment to continue that vision here in Fairbanks, Alaska.
